The Divine Life Society of Australia (DLSA) is a branch of Divine Life Society India (DLS). Swami Sivananda formed DLS in 1936 on the banks of Ganga, at a distance of 3 kilometres from Rishikesh Town. More on DLS.

The Divine Life Society of Australia in Sydney was formed with the blessings received from His Holiness Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj on 16th May 1997. The society's founding came about thanks to inspiration, effort and support from many local devotees of Gurudev and H. H. Swami Chidananda.

DLSA is part of DLS worldwide family and its activities are focused on following spiritual instructions of DLS founder Swami Sivananda. DLSA has been extremely blessed by the guidance and visits of Swami Chidananda and other revered Swami Jis from DLS.

DLSA strives to hold the following activities in Australia:

• To disseminate Spiritual Knowledge by following the path shown to us by Swami Sivananda and his followers.

• Book Distributions
• Collection of donations to help spiritual and charitable services performed by DLS.
