Dear devotees and seekers of bliss divine,
The year 2020 has been a time of great uncertainty, bringing along upheavals in life and unprecedented change. But as we all know, change is a constant and a way of life.
Gurudev Swami Sivananda Ji has always taught us the need to accept circumstances as they present themselves before us and stay positive in life.
Let us pray that this positivity heralds blessings upon all and bestows a 2020 vision of life, to see through the ephemeral nature of the phenomenal world. And to be established in our true nature as Conscious Awareness in Peace, Joy, Bliss and Pure Happiness.
As Guru Maharaj Swami Chidananda Ji has said, “rather than celebrate, let us ‘observe’ Christmas as a time to pray, share, give and love every living being in equal measure. And let us utilise this New Year period to intensify our resolve on the spiritual path to reach the goal of life, God Realisation”.
Now is the time for transformation, to reveal our true and pure Self. Rather than celebrate in frivolous activities, let our resolve focus on vigilance and being fully aware on the spiritual path.
Let this be a new beginning to offer our deep gratitude for all our blessings and embrace the ‘New Year’ as ‘Now Here’, to be free from the notional bondage of ego. And pray for Grace to help us abide in the Supreme Self.
May the loving grace of God and Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj be upon all!
